Stocktaking to maximize your profit Because you know that every drop counts
It is essential to your profitability that you have complete transparency of the movement of stock on your premises, without this information you could be missing out on profitability and efficiency in your operation.
You may be aware of discrepancies between sales and stock records, but unsure as to where the losses are occurring. It is very important to identify if theft, short delivery or loss from waste is causing a drain on your profit and audit these findings. By undertaking regular accurate stock takes you can have the peace of mind that comes from knowing where the problems exist, enabling you to action a plan to eliminate stock loss. As an independent UK stocktaker we can provide you a clear itemised report of your business exactly as it is, no guess work or artificial inflation of the figures. Every open bottle and barrel of beverage is included.
When you are armed with accurate individual variance of stock levels in your business, you can set targets to bring your profitability in line with expectations. You can also identify which lines perform better than others to help you to plan your future strategy.
So you can see that a stocktaking audit and report is far more useful than just a count of how many bottles and barrels are on the premises, it is a reliable measure of stock movement and loss that enables you to get a handle on maximizing the profit that your business can achieve.
Our stocktakes and audits should always be self-financing from the waste reductions you are able to make. Plus our experience of supply price can benefit you in negotiating the best deal you can with the suppliers you use.

GP Multipler
Take the cost price of your item (ex vat) and to achieve the GP you want simply multiply it by the number shown. This will give you the selling price (inc vat)
For example, if a bottle of Whisky costs £10.00 (before vat) and you want to make a GP of 70%, multiply your £10.00 by 4.
The bottle would then yield you £40.00 and for a normal measure you should therefore sell this for £1.43 (or £1.45 to round up) per shot to make 70%.
